But recently (2 weeks ago) my slave cylinder gave out and I had to get it replace even though nissan "help me" pay half of it I ended up paying toying 150 dollars and repair 500 dollars. So I was upset about the whole situation but I got over it, now just today I guess I have the "Steering lock fuse" problem and from what I have seen it looks like I might have to take it to the dealer AGAIN! Unless I want to try and fix it myself which sometimes that can backfire on you.

So at This moment I'm pretty frustrated, I really just want to drive. Wouldn't you think that the more expensive the car is the longer it would last or the less issues it should have?

What have you put up with ur Z? Maybe I'm complaining about something we have all gone through with our Z
Sorry to hear your two problems with an 3+ years old car.....

Those two are the most common problem with the 370z...

But for an 3+ years old car... you might as well want to purchase an extended warranty for peace of mind.

I put up with nothing so far. Car is great and I get to drive it very very fast when I want to

Stick with the Z overall you cannot get a better all around sportscar in my book. It does everything right and is fun to drive and admire. Ive owned much more expensive and exotic machinery and I LOVE this car. Like all other cars occasionally something with be an issue. Fix it and move on. Chin up!

What is this water like liquid coming out of my eyes as I walk away from the Nissan dealer where my 370z is being held.

We were so young and naive

$1000.00 Dollars to fix it and it's not covered by my warranty. WOW! It's really not fair. We should really think about calling Nissan Consumer Affairs and tell them they really need to recall this Fuse because its a bunch of Bull..............

The cost of potential lawsuits was less than the cost of a recall, therefore, no recall.

From what I have read you can take it out youself and avoid ever going through this issue.

Do it yourself or have your corner mechanic do it. My Nissan dealer estimated $200. My corner mechanic friend, who changes my oil and does my inspections, did it in 7 minutes and, when I asked I much I owed, he said, "Don't worry about it. Have a good day."
'Nuff said.

Steering Lock: cut one wire. /switch optional

That's the link for the wire cut solution along with the harness and also find links to the fuse pull thread. Put your reading glasses on it's a long thread but a good read to really undsterand the problem and all the solutions. You can pick your favorite. I recommend the harness its plug and play, reversible, cheap and great quality plus offers additional options for he owner.
