there's a bulletin... buts stiffer springs in the little rubber bumpers for the iniotial push. even then, mine still gets fussy if it's cold.... i'm sure the lift cylinders are part of the equation too.

I *hate* being stranded, but I admid that I also love upgrading broken parts. So far I've stayed ahead of the breakdown curve by pre-replacing all the stuff that commonly fails.
-aftermarket clutch slave. (did the master at same time just to be sure) -pulled steering lock fuse first thing -upgraded clutch and flywheel my 25k used clutch seemed burnt when I bought the car. -have oil cooler on order -thinking of upgrading the rear diff to something more bulletproof. so far no breakdowns, but you are right, it takes a little getting used to a car that tends to break more than a DD. I always tell myself mechanical failures are a good chance to upgrade weak systems... otherwise maybe I'd be driving a camery or something.

I have a 2012 370z touring roadster w/sport pkg, spoiler, fully loaded every option available, 9 months old and I just turned 3,000 miles.
Thats because my 1996 300zx tt is SOOOOOOOO much more fun to drive. Almost totally rebuilt, the 370z is tame compared to the 300. I really think Nissan should have kept their cars turbo's. |

![]() Unrelated, I don't think my next car will be a new one. It'll be something not much newer than the early 2000s. [shrugs] All the new cars come loaded with stuff, which is also loaded with problems with questionable build quality. I'd rather go back to something simpler.

I'm nearing one yr of ownership and 30k miles on my 09, 9k miles when i bought it.
I had the SB done for the tired hatch springs under warranty and thats it. Oil changes, tires and smiles. I pulled the fuse for the steering lock about 6k miles ago. Daily driver, been on 10 hr one way road trips too.
