Yeahhhh... 15% off isn't enough...
If they give 25%, take it, if not, use their loaner and get a 2013

Exactly.......regardless the car is still 2 yrs old. 25% off range I would take the 11 no doubt as you will still have the warranty as it doesn't start till the in service date!

Do a search on any 11+ having steering lock issues, find one and I'll redact my statement. In all honesty, if the OP doesn't have a preference on style or specific color, the 2011 is a much better buy. They will most likely offer special financing and more $$$ of in comparison to the 2013. It's not a matter of affordability. A SP + touring convertible model with nav can scrape past 50k. Getting the same thing for less is just more sensible. The depreciation on such a loaded vehicle will hurt when buying new, at least get it for a huge discount to ease the pain. Now if the OP wants the new blue or red color, likes the new SP rims and bumper, by all means, get what you want. But to me, saying I got a 13' instead of I have an 11' because its "newer than the other new car? That's just a smug individual trying to make a statement no one would give a flying F about in the first place.... except the smug individual.

I've been following the steering lock threads for weeks now and I've not seen a case involving a 2011+ model to date. Mostly 2009 and 2010 models.

Let the redactions begin:

Smug nothing. Buy what is the lastest for better performance.....always. I listed the items that make the newer model better in my opinion but again the OP and his money matter more than my silly opinion

Please link And if it is performance first.....always, where's your Nismo? Oh wait, those didn't have a performance advantage either. OP, please let us know what you get haha. You have us arguing over the merits of two vehicles that are 99% the same. Oh and FYI, 15% off 50k is $42,500.

DIY: Replace dreaded steering-lock on 2009s and early 2010s.

Nismo not needed as you said On the Autobahn at 130+mph you cant tell the difference Im betting.

You win that battle haha. Impressive you found what must be the single existing steering wheel lock issue on the 2011's. Then again, mine was manufactured in August 2011 and bought late Sep. Not sure if they made any more changes or that 2011 was fitted with an older revision.

No battle. That part is a trainwreck and Nissan is giving us the finger rather than recall. Deleted on the 13 of course. What rev is on your machine.

I like a good debate lol. Not sure what revision mine is. Can't check because I'm in AFG and the car is with GTM getting nice goodies put on
