Z is a relatively rare car in general. You don't even see bunch of them sitting in the dealership's parking lot either compare to altimas. And among the z owners, quite a lot of them use the Z as a weekend toy car. Plus the winter is here, it makes sense that you don't see many Zs on the road in your area. Having said that, I am sure you'd see more Zs in TX or FL or CA. But even here in New England, I bump into 370 Zs here and there. And I often go to a G35 meet in Boston. Funny thing is there are always more Zs showed up than Gs. So your statement might only apply to your area.
