Car not starting

Has anyone taken their car to a dealership and got this fixed for free while out of warranty?

I don't remember reading about anyone getting it done for free when out of warranty, but my memory isn't what it used to be.

But they'll never say yes if you don't ask. They can't shoot you for asking and you might get lucky. Ask more than one dealer - some are more lax about the rules than others. Just don't hold your breath.

Yea I did but I was only 2 weeks out of warranty. I got them to agree to cover the repair before they knew what it was.

One or two guys who were very recently out of warranty got their dealerships to do the fix as a good will gesture. They may have had to pay the cost of the tow.

What happen? I never saw this thread and I'm very interested because my car also suffer from this just a week ago. I have to pay $1100 for the repair.

Nissan come on! We need to go public! YouTube, News, Call Curtis, etc

It's not fair for drivers who will have this happen to them in the near future.
