Default How much have u put up with ur 370z?

I'm asking because I bought my 2009 370z about 6 months ago, I love the car so much it's in my top 5 cars that I love! But recently (2 weeks ago) my slave cylinder gave out and I had to get it replace even though nissan "help me" pay half of it I ended up paying toying 150 dollars and repair 500 dollars. So I was upset about the whole situation but I got over it, now just today I guess I have the "Steering lock fuse" problem and from what I have seen it looks like I might have to take it to the dealer AGAIN! Unless I want to try and fix it myself which sometimes that can backfire on you.

So at This moment I'm pretty frustrated, I really just want to drive. Wouldn't you think that the more expensive the car is the longer it would last or the less issues it should have?

What have you put up with ur Z? Maybe I'm complaining about something we have all gone through with our Z

I have an 09 and haven't had any issues yet. Pulled the steering lock fuse and when the CSC cylinder goes I will be going aftermarket and upgrading clutch/flywheel etc.

All I can say is do your research. There is no correlation with expensive cars costing less on maintenance, in fact it's quite the opposite.

Unfortunately you have had the two problems that are very common in the time frame that they seem to happen.

Ya, unfortunate string for you

I've had the CSC failure...mine was gradual, took it to the dealer and it was fixed under warranty. I plan on taking my steering lock fuse out...outside of that, the car has been a gem

there are only a handful of issue the Z really seems to get and it seems like you got them all...should be smooth sailing from now on

The CSC is a lousy design. I delt with it & replaced it a few times on my XJ. Why they don't use an external slave & fork is anyone's guess, but it will fail again. They also leak a little bit at a time so keeping an eye on the reservoir is necessary as well. As previously mentioned, it looks like the 2 common problems with the Z bit you. The steering lock should be solved, but even with an aftermarket CSC, it will resurface later down the road. In fact, if the trans is ever pulled, make sure you replace the CSC at the same time. It is easy to get discouraged, but hopefully you will be able to enjoy your car. While not always practical or able, a DD is always preferred to have in addition to such a toy

Good luck YMMV

About 8 inches on ramps and I can get my big head under to do oil change.

Default 10 Dollar choice

The local dealerships only charge 10 dollars labor to change my oil, I think its worth it because of the low ground clearance & the undercover removal, I bring in Mobil 1 with a filter every 5k. Right now with 18,600 my first set of tires is coming up & Costco has everyone beat in overall price.

2009 was the first year it was released, so like most first year cars, there's going to be problems/issues. That's why I waited until the 2012 model year to pick one up.

so far, problem free...*knock on wood.

Do you know where it's leaking? Recovery line/ bottle or radiator? Is it a leak, or overflow? Are you sure it's coolant, not A/C condensate? First time I have heard of coolant trouble.

No idea. The dealership found it when I took her in for a different issue. They replaced the hoses and "fixed" it. When I took her for inspection/oil change to a different place last month they said I had a leak again. Coolant level was low.
