Tracking and insurance/warranty

They market the STi as rally and raceable, but when people who did so brought it in for regular maintenance, etc. they would void warranties, because the computers recorded the high speeds, etc. I think something similar was happening with Mitsubishi and the Evo's.

Would be nice to hear from those that have tracked.

I haven’t heard anything on the Z. I have on the GT-R but if done on the GT-R I’m pretty sure on the Z. If out of pocket expense high enough for the dealer they will void you.

I never mention to the service manager at the dealership what exactly I am doing. I need to be careful is my mentallity, do not mention the next track day coming up. Modifications are obvious.
