Trying to delete the post but I appreciate your responses. Looks like driver error on my part and uneducated to the Mustang GT! I feel better!

Even in the right gear, you should have lost.

[EDIT] Should have mentioned it depends on which GT. The old GT is slower, but the 5.0 is faster.

Also, PM a Trips or Frost for the thread. I don't think you can close it on a base account? I can't remember.
