What hand positions allow the use of the paddle shifters?

sometimes you can sort of hook your thumbs on the wheel cross members for easy access to the shifters. - so i guess thats 9 and 3:driving:

Sadly, I can attest to this.

Sorry, I have a manual, so I can not. I was just curious where you could reach them from i.e. 8-10 on left and 2-4 on the right? Can they be reached from 1 or 5 O'clock? I assume 12 O'clock is out, but I do not know.

ahhhhh

well i know 10 and 2 will do it easily but i dont have an automatic, MT all the way

9/3 is the msot comfortable for me. since on the nismo i dont have a telescoping wheel, that works best. When i had my G i could do 12 o clock and then my right hand rarely ever touched the wheel...

Just curious how you guys drive the Z.

Get a RHD Z34... FTW

Preferably one hand on a big firm mammy in the passenger seat, other hand in the right spot.

That's true, mine actually places MY hand there lol.

But I think the thread title should include passenger being in or out of the car, because that alters one's way of gripping the wheel...
