Thanks for the update on the 11 status. Was not sure if they all had it. Mid year revision it seems.

Yup  As daisuke mentioned in another thread, just check the steering wheel with the car off to see if you have a steering lock :icon17:

Pull out method works best, but it feels better leaving it in. :rofl2:

Pulled the fuse on my 09. The only issue is the slight delay, but it starts every time.

Pulled mine on my '09 preemptively at 11,000 mi. This situation is an outrage.

Since I have a build date of January 2011 and mine was within the range of affected models on NTB12-41, I pulled mine just to be safe. It's a pretty easy fix, took me about 15 minutes. You have to kind of 'fish' the wires leading into the fuse box out in order to free the box so you can open it up.

Haven't pulled it yet, the fuse. It's in storage in Tx. and I'm in Mx but will as soon as I get back and drive it outta storage. It's my wife's car and I don't want to have to come get her when/if it gets twitchy.

Thanks for finding a fix. Her Z is an 09. No problems and don't want any.

Tell your friend I told you so.:icon17:

According to the poll over 50% of you either don't know what we are talking about or haven't pulled the fuse.
You people need to wake up and learn about this quick or get your azz out to the garage and pull the fuse before you become a statistic

And if you don't I will say I told you so.:shakes head:

I voted No because I preemptively cut the brown wire last night.

Own a 2011 Nismo w/ 6k miles, lock was rev. C, car build date of Oct. 2010.

Thanks for all the research into this.

That doesn't make sense can you elaborate to why you cut the wire?
