Well I removed the radiator, AC, raised the car (due to wider tires), installed traction arms, and removed manifolds. Going with headers now. Whoop. So it was a great day.

Whats the labour like on installing headers?

I think you are in the same spot I am...I have an 11month old, no baby seats allowed up front!

Had a period where I would only get to drive it weekends or when I was going out at night to train or to a car meet. Managed to make it a bit more often though. Especially once we got him into daycare

My little girl is 6 months old. Hey at least we still have the Z and have not sold it like most guys/gals here who have newborns or are expecting. :) I started thinking about driving it to work a couple of times a week but the other day I just found a huge scratch on my POS Hyundai that is now my DD.

Well, I had the day off today and I started to weekend early so I got in the Z and enjoyed it's maneuverability. ;) Gosh, I love this car!!

Not bad at all when the radiator core support is removed.

forza370z 11-09-2012 07:10 PM

Passed inspection today and ready to put away my Z for the winter! The inspector didn't even check the parts he's supposed to check(like tire tread, suspensions, brakes). Instead he "inspected" the interior, exterior, engine bay carefully and kept saying "Man, beautiful car! I got to let it pass!"

car is at the shop as i type, going from 18" to 19" sport package wheels polished in gunmetal. Michelin Pilot Super Sports. 20MM HR spacers all around. Cost me a bit but will change the whole look hopefully and then i need swift springs for sure.

Fast Intentions Exhaust install for day before Thanksgiving! havent been this excited in a long time

Just finished an Auto-X session. Had a lot of fun. Crushed all the miatas, the FRS, 5.0 mustang, and a few RX-8's. The Z06 and Cayman killed me. One if the instructors has a 350Z with light weight wheels and coilovers and extra bracing and sways. He was consistently 3-4 seconds faster, despite my 60hp advantage.
More pics to come after I play with them from the DSLR. Here's a quick iPhone 5 snapshot

Yeah.... Wrapped the door with blue tape. My buddy detailed my Z over a week ago and the tape wouldn't stick to it at all. Also, kinda weird my bumper doesn't match the body in that last pic. Hmmm it matches in person.

I started moulding a Mines front lip to my bumper and filling in the hamburger. Trying out Norton Speedgrip panel bond. So far, so good. We'll see how we'll it sands later...

Took rear bumper the bodyshop to have fixed

Nice work crushing the Miata's, those little bastards are quick around the track...when I've done Time Attack they are normally only running against each other.

Can't wait to do more next year!
