Off topic I'm sorry but I was just about to order the Redline 5w30 oil change kit again but I wanted to try Rotella t6 in this car. I've used it before and I like it, but I also like the Redline very much. Any reviews on the oil in a vq37?

My tuner recommended I switch from Redline to Rotella. Haven't put enough miles on the car to send out an analysis, so I can't tell you if there's any difference. It is nice that it's much cheaper and avaiable in stores. I've used it in a lot of other cars and it worked just fine.

Yeah I just pulled the trigger and bought some along with a bigger oil filter which I didn't do last time!

I have to reposition them and maybe I'll paint them black also.

My solution isn't nearly as pretty. Seems to work though.

Nah I don't run anything to yell the difference but I'm sure there is like a 10° diff. I think the OP of the DIY thread noticed 15° lower temps! Crazy

Sweet, I'll PM you the info on the BMW Club Autocross events for North Texas. Much more laid back and many more runs than the SCCA events.

I am particularly impressed at your ability to take that photo while you're in the car and send it while you're driving :icon17:

Just finished installing my Stillen G3. Getting the Z tuned Friday. :icon17:

Sacrificed my front bumper because some idiot was too busy smoking his e-cig to pay attention to me slowing down on the highway due to traffic coming to stop. Saw him just In time and was able to swerve the Z in the closed lane( I always keep 2 car lengths between me and the car in front when having too stop on the highway) and bounced a cone off the front right side of the bumper. More like destroy since the cone got ripped in half. The truck skidded to a stop where my Z was just 2 sec before. Would rather have a scuffed bumper then being rear ended like that. Been through that once and it was not fun.
