Had great time today with some mustang friends at Ford show in Fort Mill SC. Great turn out over 200 cars of course my Z was not one of those !!

Unfortunately it ended ugly...after the rewards etc everyone was leaving and the streets were lined with people and cars were still parked on the public roads of the business park. After several cars making burn outs etc a 3 car tandem took off all doing the same....the third car hit first, second and third gear and he never backed out. He lost control and went sailing away hitting a tree and crashing a really nice 2013 shelby. Fortunately no one was hurt other than the guy drivings pride. Surprisingly he backed the car out and returned to the parking lot to let everyone look at what he had done.

Was a scary situation and I couldnt believe he came back to let that crowd see what he had just done to his car. Mid 50s guy as well and he just ruined a great car for a few seconds of fun.

Moral of the story....dont be a dumbass. I watched 2 super snakes pull over 900 HP today. Yeah thats insane but be respectful of that and those around you.

I attended a slot car race yesterday and placed third.

On the way home I came across that same freeway connector overpass in Novato, I've mentioned before. Last time I was in the outer lane of this very long left hand sweeper. This time it was the inside lane. I passed several cars while making my way through. It was as if they all cleared out of left lane. :happydance:

I merged well with the rest of the 70 MPH traffic on the other end.

Hating life in my Z today!

I hated life as my key light came on and now I'm stuck. At least my steering wheel didn't lock up, but I'm stuck FAR from home!

At least I'm at my girls house!

Oh, did I mention, my new cabinets are on my porch just waiting to be stolen?

Great weekend!

Put the fob in the holder and it should start up. Sounds like a low battery for the key fob.

I don't think so.

Spent about six hours detailing my Z after spending a couple hours last night trying to reposition the AeroJacket fenders I just got installed. After detailing was complete I went for a drive and realized that I did not reconnect the drivers side head light. :shakes head:

I had fun with my anti-theft map and my GF. She asked if she could learn to drive it. I laughed and told her sure...but it's a bit tricky. She claimed she could do it, since she drove my old 350 around a church lot in first and second gear.

Troll brain kicked in and I tapped the buttons turning on anti-theft. The look on her face was pure gold when I yelled what the hell did you do and the car died.

:happydance:

And I'm not getting any later....

:ughdance:

6 stage detail including: clay, paint correction, glaze, wax and sealant.
