and good luck with the installation.

btw, make sure leave the "remote control" option on the HU at "on" otherwise the AWSC wont work.

programming the AWSC could be a headache, program the buttons manually, and be patience.

also, I am wondering why don't you get the handbrake bypass? it is very useful.

I got everything wired up and installed today! The biggest surprise was after talking to Axxess and them telling me to switch the wires (pins 5,11 on the ASWC harness to pins 6,16 on the car harness as stated in the manual to pins 5,11 to 16,6. We had already tapped the wires from the ASWC to the vehicle harness so we decided to cut both wires from the ASWC to the car harness and butt solder the blue/gray to the red/gray wires and vice versa) I was able to auto program the buttons. They all work and I just used the auto program method! I have a non-Bose Z so maybe that's the diff.

In regards to the e brake bypass, everything I read about that with the Kenwood HU is that you just ground the green wire to the chassis which I did...I'll go for a drive tonight to see if there's any issue and update back here.

Here's a picture of my buddy, we just peeled off wiring insulation on the vehicle's harness to tap the ASWC wires in.

Installed a Kenwood DNX7160 last night. Easy install using the factory brackets from the Bose headunit and Metra wiring harness for the Bose, but I left out the PAC-SWI and reverse camera for now. I'll be installing a full CF Amuse replica in a couple months and will have to pull it all apart again anyways.

Got these in the mail yesterday from Luciano I put them on the ground to test the looks of them before going off to work . Very busy lately and will be for a couple of weeks so I have no time to put them on yet....
Will be on soon enough and will turn my sexy red Zed into a sexier red Zed

Bought this last night and just used it on my Z and my Fit

12 Volt, 100 PSI High Volume Air Compressor

Rears were at 30 on the Z and took it up to 35 in little over a minute, gas station air pump be damned!

I heard those are pretty stout compressors for their size.

Yeah I got a compressor for my garage and I never looked back!
So nice to be able to do air on my terms instead of waiting in line or driving up and the thing is broken.....AND took my money!
