:tiphat: you too chrischhorn  good information...
I hope I'm not driving it hard enough, often enough to need a replace on the CSC.

Don't forget about the elevenses you were doing that would put some wear on the poor plastic CSC.

Installed some GTMat Quadro in my trunk today. Not the cleanest job, but quieting down some of the cabin noise from my exhaust/HFC combo.

Took off my lip for re-taping and actually liked how it looked without it. So it is off for now. Got me thinking of other lip options so I am now on the hunt. Ings +1 on top of the list, followed by Top Secret, and the Varis on third. It's just so many.

 LOL! I didn't forget. THat was the exception though, not the norm.
especially since I just had the new tires installed...haven't laid any 11s (other than at autoX) since then. No more playing... :)

so yesterday i had to redo my dinoc around the hvac trim. :ugh:

last time i used one sheet to wrap the entire trim and it looked great until the
summer sun hit it with in-cabin temps reaching over 120F. :shakes head:

i had to use a lot of tension when i wrapped around the hvac rings so that is
part of the reason why this happened. :ugh:

http://www.the370z.com/members/kench...dinoc-fail.jpg

this time i did the trim using 4 pieces. the main base piece, then 3 hvac
rings.

here's the base piece and the center ring attached. the center ring is only for
cosmetics to add consistency to the other 2 rings.

here are the side pieces that go on the outer hvac rings. i used masking tape
to make a template. this has no tension on the dinoc so it shouldn't peel up
or wrinkle later.

and this time im heat cycling it under my IR lamp at 125F for 10hrs. :icon17:

Looks great. I'm not big into the CF interior wrap but you definitely did a nice job. I've seen peoples that look just flat out terrible and can't get the curves on it all that great.

Thanks! :D yah, it does takes some playing to figure out this material. Wish it was thinner and a lot stickier.

I tried to go with the vinyl wrap on my center console and just didn't like how it came out so I painted it instead.

That stuff was such a PITA to work with :shakes head:
