They do feel lighter but they don't advertise any weight savings. They perform better and look cool:driving:

I typcially hand wash myself but it rained last night when driving and car was filthy, the Z should be clean at all times (plus I was parking DT) so went for a wash :D

Missing some of the wheel well plastic and pretty sure water got into the intake area on the passenger side.

Check engine light went on, rev match went off and traction icon went on lol.

Car started sputtering and high reving badly. I had to turn the car on and off a few times just to make it to work :eekdance:

happened once before after a wash but not like that. I am heading back to the car in 5 minutes, I expect it to be fine...but will report back otherwise.

Damn son! :ugh2: Just say no to automatic car washes. :(

I know, serves me right....I just couldn't drive all dirty...was so sunny.

Anyways, on the way home the Check engine was still on and it was idling higher than normal

Unplugged battery at home for 10 minutes, hooked back up, all is well!

No more auto washes lol

Pulled this off of the car so I can wrap it. The other to follow next week.

Installed coilovers (still needs a little bit of adjusting and lowering).
Also installed Nismo shift know which was a nightmare!
And last but not least JPM Coachworks Alcantara shift boot with "brilliant silver" stitching. I plan on eventually doing the kneepads to match.

1) They will F up your wheels

2) They will scratch the hell out of your clearcoat.

3) They love to rip off spoilers and bend license plates.

Zs and automatic car washes are not friends. Anyway, got my car back with the new CSC installed. Everything back to normal!
Also discovered that having a solid brass Tommy Kaira shift knob is fun, but if you leave the car sitting outside you'd better put a sun visor up because that damn thing turns into a fireball.

just letting the pollen accumulate on the car, changing the color from BC to BC with color accent.... no sense in washing, it will be covered again in the morning.

dmhenderson 04-11-2013 02:16 PM

California duster fixes that.
