Good looking out... fails if you try to use the numbers over the letters!

I have not driven the car in 4 days. Will start her up when I arrive tonight 'round midnight. Sorry neighbors

Riptide67 03-27-2014 06:00 PM

Gotta adjust my front coilovers a bit in fear of blowing out a CF fender. I'm not about that life hahaha!

kenchan 03-27-2014 06:22 PM

Zerocool 03-27-2014 06:30 PM

I have to do my radio as well. Just waiting for the new pioneer nex series. The interface looks pretty cool. I'll install my r/camera and steering wheel volume control adapter too.

kenchan 03-27-2014 06:35 PM

yah, hope they make their nav much better than the current versions.

Zerocool 03-27-2014 06:38 PM

tell me about it...it's shyty as fuq. I install them for customers all the time. I always try to push the kenwood navi because it uses garmin gps, however all kenwood double din's take at least 10-15 to boot up when on.

It's really annoying.

kenchan 03-27-2014 06:47 PM

yah, that's why i use a nuvi in my car. :D hahaha. i run ecoRoute so have obd2 gauges and nav when needed. i run a 4500BT on my Z.

blackcherry20 03-27-2014 07:14 PM

Drove Harry to town for a quick wash last night then today drove him to work!
Sigh...I love Harry.

ah that's a cool feature. The newer expensive kenwood navi units can be hooked up to a car's obd plug via t harness. It display accurate car readings as well

jdsto 03-27-2014 07:33 PM

going with the Kenwood DNX891HD, with the cmos 310 camera. I will live with the boot up time, as it does everything i want in a nice clean package.

Drove 200 miles because my sister forgot keys to her apartment. Thankfully on a day I have off from work.

Nice!
Has anyone ever blacked out the pillars? I saw this mentioned somewhere once, and it looked pretty good.

DavidInIndy 03-28-2014 09:08 AM

I'm in the danger zone this morning (4 dots left on fuel), so I go for a fill-up ($3.66 for 93 octane btw). But this time, I try to put as much in her as I can...in fact, I even hear the "throat" getting full.

I start her up and I'm seeing full except the final two dots are not lit. Now previously it used to show a completely full tank, but lately in the last six months or so, I'm noticing that the last two dots are consistently not lit.

I'm sure someone else has experienced this. Pls shout out. Thx.

P.S. And I'm just waiting for certain Z horn dogs to chime in on the throat comment I made. It's friday...you know you want to!

:rofl2:

I had this issue with my 40th. The dealer replaced both fuel senders (there are 2) and the problem went away. It was a warranty fix.

Unless the dealership pulls some crap. I never got mine replaced when I was having the issue of the last dot not lighting. They refused to unless it persisted for more than x months.

kenchan 03-28-2014 10:41 AM

last night i swapped emblems that is covering up a ding from a bed frame that fell on my rear bumper
last summer. :ugh: it's not a nasty hole or anything but there is definite scuffage that i could only
completely polish off and a recess area. :shakes head:

anyway while i was working on the emblems i was scratching my head wtf "Ings+1" meant...

and i realized it probably means 'Wings winning'..
the logo has a upward arrow before "Ings." in japanese up is "ue".

so if you put "ue" and ings together you get "ueings" or "wings".
the +1, i couldn't decode... probably means winning by one.

not sure... anyway, the projects is done and will inspect my work when i get home tonight. :D watch, with my luck it's tilted. lol
