Hit 66600 on the Odo while driving in sleet. Was worried it was a bad omen.

Oomicha3loo 03-02-2014 09:27 PM

Replaced my passenger front tire, damn 5 and those potholes. Also relocated my oil cooler lines.

kittens 03-03-2014 01:12 AM

had the stock springs installed for more clearance... I've been bottoming out too much on these horrible connecticut roads (previously eibach lowering springs)

feels a lot smoother now

Threatening rain but who cares if the roads are clear. We will see.

Just got comp'd a set of new heim joints from Kinetix being that the older style was somewhat faulty. They are definitly a company that has my respect. Glad to see that copmanies still back their product and are listening to their customers!!! And no I was not paid to say that lol.

Got the invoice from Stillen. Spoke with Shawn who I've known now for a while, and I will be adding Stillen's under drive crank pulley, and I'll be tuning it.

What polishing compound did you get? Anymore pads?

Waizzz -- I actually was going after harbor freight's but I can't trust it enough so I went back to this. I'm looking at the P40 or the Nano 3N. Then wax using their carnauba creme or vintage butter. Yes more pads needed. More whites and oranges. I'm on my way to the airport on Wed so I'll pass by their showroom.

Smart man, the PC is more money but honestly after using it I have got the hang of it and I have already used it enough times that I got my moneys worth out of it.

This is my go-to compound:

Heavy Duty Body Shop Safe Polishing Compound

Just get 1 more orange pad and 2 white pads and that should set you up for awhile.

I would also pickup this sealant and a black pad:

Chemical Guys WAC_115_16 - Factory Paint Sealant (16 oz)

My emblem arrived so it was a quick replacement for my WeatherTechs. Got the idea from another member/vendor. I think it was from Joe at ZSpeed.

Although there is a price difference, the PSS are worth it.

Put down a deposit for new wheels. :excited:

That's what I'm thinking. Going for quality, but a bit cheaper price... was thinking about the DW's.

Not sure yet. I have a buddy that apparently works for Discount, so we'll see what kind of deal I can get... maybe I can get some P-Zero's, PSS's, or something at a steal.

Since some roads have deteriorated because of this terrible winter, a nice road rock put a healthy crack in my windshield. Had to get a new one. Thank you State Farm for completely covering it.

I dunno why, maybe "grass is greener" but I really like your black seats. Mines are white...I take good care of them but I could be really lazy if I had black.
They get dirty so easy and show up dirt so bad. Plus, my "Alcantera" door handles, I've cleaned them so many times I've nearly worn the suede down to nubs. Ah, the luxury life!

Went to Chemical Guys and picked up a Jet Seal 109 sealant, Gap V36 / Gap V38 polishing samplers, and a couple more pads. Also met up with Jake and saw his car. It is the M7 Japan sponsored 370Z wrapped in brushed steel vinyl. Seen his car being prepped and worked on at Amplified Motorsport last year.

Nice bumping into a forum member whose car you've seen and met first.

Got the Z out for the first time since November to get some rubber installed in the rear. Ready for spring now.

Thanks to the Nissan dealer for price matching Tire Rack!
