I've taken mine down to one dot, but I still don't trust it.

The "miles remaining" can't be trusted either, as it seems to take an average, based on how you're driving. I can make it drop 5-10 miles, let off and cruise for a bit and it jumps back up. It's just guesstimating the remaining mileage really.

I fill up at about 2-3 dots, as I know that won't get me to and/or from work (30mi).

I'm not sure if I have experienced it or not...

Does it shut the car down completely or feel like TCS kicks in (w/no indicator light)/no throttle response? I've felt that a few times cornering this week w/less than half a tank.

Shuts down completely. Like you've just run out of gas. It's the shape of the fuel tank combined with the centrifugal force during a right hand curve/turn.

I've run my Z to zero dots and mileage remaining -- more than once. That fill up is usually about 18.5 gallons :icon17: I don't use either of those indicators btw... I reset my mileage every tank and can pretty much gauge exactly how much gas I have left based on that mileage and my recent driving habits

Ah okay.

I've never (knock on wood) run out of fuel, so I wasn't sure.

I reset every time too.

I've never run out of fuel either (knock on wood also) but I gradually pushed until I got to the 18 gallon fill up point. It's nice to know that I'm not going to run out of gas if I have to run across town for an appointment and don't have time to stop on the way.

Ordered my TWM shifter knob and stillen G3 intake today. On leave for three days next week and will be installing it then. Can't wait. First performance mod I'm doing.

Problem with me running out of fuel was I have put the G3's on and wasn't 100%SURE on how rich/lean the car is running and it appeared to run lean and when I burried the throttle it gulped down a lot of fuel VERY fast. Oh well...life lesson leared, never let it get below 1/4 tank unless driving TO the gas station :)

I started a build thread. Its no big deal really, just a place to keep track of all stuff I'm doing/have done. Once I wrote it all down though WHEW! Thats a lot of love to throw into a car. :)

Took care of a quick winter clean up. Had a few centimeters of snow the last couple days. Melting off. Nice to be able to wash the machine!!

I just flew by a Colorado popo and his laser blaster. My Shifters shifted. I downshifted...
Goodbye popo buck Rogers! Better luck next time. (Bastard)

In other news, I'm looking for recommendations for a good streetable LSD. My "limited slip" sport OEM diff doesn't really seem to limit much of the slip. (At least not at slow speeds on snow and ice)

Nismo makes one (clutch plate style I believe) any thoughts? I'm mostly looking for better snow traction but also want one that tracks well, is street cozy, and won't break the bank.

Perhaps I should start a thread...

Oh here is a pic of my baby tucked in to bed in her new Colorado home. It's a tight fit.

Driving this morning was avoid bike, avoid bike, avoid bikes, deal with broken down bus and more bikes. Not fun, but the weather is. If only I could really drive in it today. Rats.

I will wash a couple cars today, if all stays on course.

Tried out the new formula Adams waterless wash in the garage. It's great stuff.
