Took a drive to the Lakeland Nissan dealer I bought my Z from today. I've done a little bit of gun work for the salesman, Jason, that sold me my Z. While I was there I got up close and personal with a 2014 GT-R. Awesome car! I tried not to touch to much. I didn't want to break anything. The rear spoiler alone costs $10,000.

I asked "test drive? :eekdance:

Jason said that he'd never got to drive one. He said one of the big wigs at the dealership has a GT-R as a daily driver, and he's never had it over 60 MPH! He was serious!

While we were talking he was telling me about a white Z that was sitting in the parking area that had exhaust pipes out the back that didn't look right. A gray haired older lady came out and Jason asked if that was he car. She said it was. About that time an older man came out walking to the passenger side to get in. She started the car and he said that was the best sounding exhaust he had ever heard on a Z. He tapped on the window and asked what exhaust it was. She said "Fast Intensions"! Jason has a Z so I assume that'll be in it's future.

Drove home. Went to the store first and picked up about 1/2 pound of rum soaked, honey coated salmon for lunch. It was :yum:!

Finally just ordered some illuminated kick plates from Fred Beans Parts...

I kinda told myself I didn't need them, how often would I see or notice them etc, but then again, its just knowing they are there and they are pretty sweet!

Got rid of some unnecessary weight in the engine bay by doing an A/C delete.

Must be nice to be out of Texas now huh?

Lol, well we did have a hot weekend... I think it got up to 68.. Lol. I don't miss the Texas heat that's for sure

I drive around with the AC off and windows down in 90+ heat regularly :ugh2:

So do I. Don't really use the AC much. I use the heater more in the winter than I use the AC in the summer.

So I drove the Z to work today, first time since getting new wheels/ tints and a super deep glossy shine courtesy of Wolfgangs deep gloss sealant spritz (stuff is magical).

Any who, the crowd went wild, most compliments ive gotten since ive owned her. Also noticed a lot more heads turning to check her out as I drove past.

The Z took the day off today. I swear, I think I flog the beater harder than the Z.

Dur. I def do:tup: takes the Civic a lot longer to get to 80 but by golly-we will -or there will be trouble! Lol!! :tup::p

And 80 is about as fast as I can go on any road around here. :icon17:

I washed my car cover yesterday and took the time tonight to wash the Z, felt good to drive her for a little bit since I hadn't drive her all weekend :tup:

parked way out ....may do me good. WOn't be distracted by looking out the window at him every hour or so! LOL

I looked at my Z. Haven't driven it in over 2 weeks; the wife's Sentra gets over 30 mpg :tup:

i rolled down my windows , downshifted and accelerated in not 1 but 2 tunnels today

I think you will be fine with that. I have 12" res hi flow cats and 12" res cbe, yes there is drone in 6th from 45-80 once you get to 80 it goes silent :happydance:

yours should be much more mellow then mine. mine is not a daily driver so I can make it "race car" because Race Car"!:driving::tup:

No drone in cabin if going with the 18" resonator, thats specifically why I went with that over 12", Cf mufflers through...lets a bit more sound through than the Stainless Steel but I think its the perfect balance.
