Serisouly Torn between 2012 and 2013 Z

It's not really hard to drive once you get used to it, but it is harder to get used to than some. I've been driving sticks for years and there are some you'll get in and you get the idea how quick to let the clutch up and all that within just a few shifts, and the Z takes a little more practice, that's all.

The synchro makes someone who has never driven stick seem like a pro.

12...the 13 looks too much like a 350. IMO the 13 is a step backwards when it comes to looks. Also, it is a shame that Nissan did not do anything to bump up the HP numbers.

I will say that in the end YOU are paying for the car so go with the one YOU like...who cares what anyone else thinks.

There will always be people who like your car and people who will hate your car if you drive anything worth noticing!

Totally agree that's why I'm getting a 13. 09-12 owners love the looks of their cars and rightly so, it is a gorgeous car.

For me, I personally like the looks of the 13 better. Front end and sport pkg wheels look fresh to me and will differentiate my car from the pack, vs getting something that has been the same for the past 3 years.

As for resale value years down the road, you will not make up the difference paid for touring vs non touring. But the bottom line is, get what you want......it's your $$$$!

I might have to disagree on your last few sentences, i feel that the touring version in PW with 6mt will have a very good resale, if im buying for 41k then 36k, 5k devalue isnt a big drop in my books. but that also depends on how many miles it has.

But im sure people will opt for the touring if they can get it for cheaper, so imo my resale will be very good if not excellent

Forgive me for not explaining my point clearly. If I took a 2013Z 6mt Touring and paid $4,000 more than a 2013Z 6mt Base and sold it 7 years down the road. I would not get $4,000 more at selling time than the base, all miles and looks being equal.

Would a Touring 12 PW 6mt have good resale value a couple of years down the road? Of course it would.

While both front ends of the 370z leave something to be desired. Black out the fang area and the Z looks incredibly masculine and intimidating. With the new front. It looks like you had an accident and replaced your front end with a 350z and did a cheap modification by replacing the front signal lights with LED's.
