Couple points. The new Boxster is incredible piece of engineering. It's very balanced car, quality of parts are much higher, much more efficient motor and drive train with incredible dual clutch PDK tranny. It's a true sports car enthusiasts vehicle. Well designed convertible top as well. Yes it's 2.7 liter motor delivers better MPG but has less torque than the Z.
....Mileage. While I'm sure on highway the 2.7 boxster gets close to 30 mpg I suspect real world is less. My Nismo will bang out 26 mpg all day long on highway if I keep my foot out of it.
