Well designed convertible top as well. Yes it's 2.7 liter motor delivers better MPG but has less torque than the Z.

....Mileage. While I'm sure on highway the 2.7 boxster gets close to 30 mpg I suspect real world is less.

My Nismo will bang out 26 mpg all day long on highway if I keep my foot out of it.
In Germany mostly men driving the Boxster or couples. Its very expensive here. Its a laser mid engine design that Porsche, along with the Cayman has to be very careful with.

Its potential exceeds the 911 and the drivers here in the Porsche driving school love both more than the 911's as they handle much more precisely.

I also want to add that if you follow Porsche closely you know their engineering is very very good. Hence the cost.

My Z overall gets good mileage when I check it. We all know its just the right foot governor that matters.!!!

No matter who is driving it, life is not too bad in the Cayman/Boxster environment. I give it great respect no matter the cost. It works well.
