speaking of beaters and hatches, i saw this quality study... not sure how credible but if you want to be like sailfree and like to see data...

Industry avg: 102 problems per 100 cars.

I guess a problem is everything from engine failure to a rip in the floor mat, but this still seems effed up to me.

BTW... Lexus is on top because of how many people purchase them and then die before they have a chance to bring it back to the dealership for a problem.

That is a big risk when you introduce new technologies that might require a little tech savvy to operate. If someone can't get their phone synced up or can't figure out how to tell Sync to play Call Me Maybe then BAM you get a ding against you for a problem.
