I usually do the same. I show my love to my forum brothers and sisters via rep more than I do while posting. I'm just shy like that. :p

Good news

Have you looked into the WiFi adaptor and remote for the GoPro? You're also supposed to be able to watch/control via smart phone but they don't have the app finished yet. I was thinking of going this route instead of the add on screen.

yah, ive seen that option but not bought one yet. i think im going to get the composite video cable and just hook it up to my headunit or to another portable LCD and use that to aim while im sitting in the car. i can't see worth crap in that tiny lcd on the back of the gopro from outside the car (looking through the rear glass :icon17: ). the LCD's great for general aiming, but i cant see much detail from 4-5ft away.

Do you think the LCD is worth skipping then? I always hate how I have to guesstimate the aim when I'm mounting my GoPro...

It makes sense for you to do the composite cable. I thought the WiFi adaptor would be awesome, really completing the package but it's kind of useless until the app is released.

SPOHN 06-24-2012 07:27 PM

Car is on trailer going to body shop tomorrow for frame machine. After that alignment. Then back to body shop. One week at a time I guess. Still have to figure out my final repair plans.

Fire 06-24-2012 07:29 PM

Get those repairs done Spohn. Your awesome ride needs to get back to the track. Cause racecar.:driving:

Hey Fire, Congrats on the award!!
Is that a Gallardo beside your Z??

onzedge 06-24-2012 08:33 PM

Well, no grounding kit install today -- we spent a belated father's day hanging out, shooting pictures and eating brats (the sausage kind, not the kids).

onzedge 06-24-2012 10:00 PM

Sorry -- no z photos today, just hanging around -- thanks for letting me indulge myself...

So what was the final estimate on repairs?

happytheman 06-24-2012 11:24 PM

Nice photos Mr. Onzedge! With all the women folk around its easy to understand why the grounding kit did not get done! Fambly first (and I'm glad you didn't eat any kids)!

TheGreatOne 06-25-2012 12:16 AM

Mr. Onzedge thats a manly beard right there! Seems like a nice family lounging session

I did some "Time Attack" lapping today.

It drizzled a bit, was my first time and I went slow because of the track conditions but I'm dying to do it again ASAP. Looking online for helmets right now lol. A friend told me I would get hooked...
