Finally I took the 370Z out...

First of all, when I opened the door and saw and smelled the new Touring Interior, my Jaw dropped.. Wow..It sure ain't no 350Z.

Then I took it for a cruise, early with the cool air.. Damn those Sport brakes are touchy.. Sure stops great..

And it still has the Illusion of being slower than the 350Z, because the 350Z was so Raw. The power is so much smoother in the 370Z..

Damn they are sweet looking cars...Can't really tell if it is a Nissan, or a 911, or an Aston Martin...

I just love it...

I went from the white 350Z to the black 370Z....WOW

Happy I'm sure you will like the spacers. One of the things I looked at on the ZL! is that the tires sit flush without spacers. The tires are the right width too. Have a nice shoulder on the sidewall to protect the rims.

Nice cruise Bucket. :driving:

Morning, Mr Fire!!! :driving:

I heard somewhere, or perhaps I saw it or maybe imagined it, that it is obligatory for Camaro owners to grow a mullet. I think it might be true. If so, then

:pics:

Of course I am only kidding around. Probably.

I actually am looking forward to seeing pictures of the ZL1 -- everything I have read about them says that they are definitely beasts.

Also morning everyone...

How much they give you on the trade?

Fire 06-10-2012 12:43 PM

Hi little sister. So you made it back from the dealer without a Blue car??

Fire 06-10-2012 12:48 PM

$5000 under payoff. $4000 more than the other dealer. The car itself is $2000 less, it does have less options but WTH I don't have to wait another 4 months for it. I also put $2000 more for a downpayment. The options are cosmetic. The ZL1 has no powertrain/performance options other than mt or at.

I dont think I could ever stomach flipping upside down that much on a car just to get another one 4 months sooner.

Fire 06-10-2012 12:54 PM

Everything on this car is less than the one I had on order. I'm getting $4000 more for trade and the car costs $2000 less and I've paid about $3000 on the 370Z. I'm much better off with this car. About $10,000 better with this one.

Yeah, but $4000 more on trade still sounds like a polished turd when you were getting $5000 less than what you owed lol. The $2000 wouldn't make me feel any better, especially knowing it has less options haha.

Fire 06-10-2012 01:00 PM

But I was getting $9000 less than payoff with the first order. Two other dealers where in between the two.

Oh I know, you chose the lesser of all evils. But flipping a car, no matter how you make it sound, is a bad thing in the end. No car is so desirable to me that I'd suck up a $5000 loss just to own it.

It's your money broseph, I'm just saying what I'd do in this case. If you have the funds to lose $5000, go for it heh.

Fire 06-10-2012 01:08 PM

I think this car is worth it. All I have to do is drive thru the break in period and then it is to the track. No mods needed, and cause it ain't a vert the tracks won't say I cannot run it. I'm hoping to get in atleast 3 trackdays/ schools next year. Have to learn how to drive this car to it's potential. Oh and ofcourse the Dragon at ZDayZ 2013.

There are tracks fairly close to WNY that you could get to, that allow verts. Summit Point, WV is at least one.

No mods are needed....Z car owners have to spend tons of money to get to the track...

Oil coolers..

Brake upgrades..

Exhaust upgrades...

And so much more..

The ZL-1 will spank them right out of the Dealership... So what you are spending in extra money(5000), all Z car owners must spend to still be slower...:stirthepot:

Sounds like money well spent..:tup::tiphat:

Nope, no blue Z. Not in the budget anyway.

Fire 06-10-2012 01:14 PM

I live 90 miles (almost exactly) from Watkins Glen. They don't. :shakes head:

If that signature is your white 370z, you don't need another car..

Your car is SWEET

Fire 06-10-2012 01:15 PM

Good willpower Pint. You car is sweet anyways.

Oil coolers.. One time purchase, relatively cheap

Brake upgrades.. Should be something you get regardless if your car is "track ready", and is hardly uncommon...

Exhaust upgrades... Not required

And so much more.. Like?

The ZL1 also costs almost double what I paid for my Z, and weighs over 600lbs more. Sounds like you drank that Kool-Aid pretty good :-p

But you have a 370Z and it looks great....So much better than a 350Z..

If we hadn't already had a white Car, we may have gone with a White 370Z..

They look great:tup:

Notice the cars I own...No Koolaid needed..

And with only 30K Dollars into my 40 year old car that IS track ready, I can embarrass many a 370Z on the track all day long...

For the price of the ZL-1 , I have two cars..

Fire 06-10-2012 01:27 PM
