BTW-good morning all in Z land!! Going to be another pretty day here in the Ohio valley! Yay!

Hi guys. I've been out for a while but I should be back for now.

Some big changes coming for me. As you know when I hit the 2 year mark I start to get tired of my cars, regardless of how good they are. So, within the next couple weeks I am going to start parting out the 5.0 to prep it for sale. I hope I can get everything sold within 3 months.

Since I am looking to buy a house I will not replace it with anything until I have a garage to put it in. No clue what I will want when that time comes, but I can tell you I am looking forward to driving the S2000 on the daily. I just need to get a set of summer wheels/tires and put winter tires on the OEM wheels and I will be good to go.

I think I will go through this winter with the convertible top and a cover and then decide if I want to get a hard top.

Also, the gun show is in town this weekend and yesterday I got a great deal on a Springfield Armory 1911 Range Officer. This lousy cell pic does not do it any justice:

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1...728_214458.jpg

It's really a beautiful gun and handles very well. It has a 5" match barrel, trigger job, and adjustable target sights. It's super accurate... a tack driver.

I am watching the F1 race right now, but I might leave shortly to hit the range. :driving:

I weighed my range bag... it comes in at almost 100 lbs, so i have been getting some great exercise lugging it around this weekend. :icon17:

Morning, Mr. Mustang. The 1911 you have there is a great gun and one of my favorites. Have yourself a great day.

Mr.kenchan, how's the testing on the mic this morning??

Sorry to hear about the scratch on the brake lever... you clearly have some eagle-eye vision thus spot a 3mm scatch.. :icon17:

hey there, mr.alcheng. i just got back from my drive and spot QD'ed. was a great drive. will know later this am how my mic setup did. also my driver's seat is fixed. no more popping/slight shifting while turning. :p

yah, i found the scratch on the brake lever while i was fixing the driver's seat yesterday. i must have scuffed it with one of my winter jackets that has a zipper on the arm. :ugh2: it's about 3mm x 5mm in length and can be seen only at a certain angle. i massaged it deeeeeply with Griot's leathercare cream and pretty much lost visibility  so i will pretend i didn't see it. hahahaha. :icon17:
