Also, the gun show is in town this weekend and yesterday I got a great deal on a Springfield Armory 1911 Range Officer. This lousy cell pic does not do it any justice:

It's really a beautiful gun and handles very well. It has a 5" match barrel, trigger job, and adjustable target sights. It's super accurate... a tack driver.

:

My buddy actually purchased the exact same gun a couple months ago, Steve. Ive seen it in person and it is super nice:tup:

Oh, and as for getting rid of the Mustang............

yah, i found the scratch on the brake lever while i was fixing the driver's seat yesterday. i must have scuffed it with one of my winter jackets that has a zipper on the arm. :ugh2: it's about 3mm x 5mm in length and can be seen only at a certain angle. i massaged it deeeeeply with Griot's leathercare cream and pretty much lost visibility  so i will pretend i didn't see it. hahahaha. :icon17:

Mr.kenchan.. on the seat fixed and the Goodam drive...!!

I think I need to get one of those Griot's leathercare... the center console around the cupholder area has some scratches on it... :icon14:

I love how the 1911 has two safeties! Nice looking piece, Steve! :)

Just got back in town. Had an enjoyable drive back 'til the GPS directed us onto a major highway. I've got to be honest here: there are times that I don't want to be crammed in like sardines at 80mph. I'll take 65mph on wide open stretches with a view any day!

Hey there pint! :hello:

Mr.alcheng- for plastics I recommend Prima Nero. Mix 50/50 with water. Can be had via amazon or detailersdomain.com. :) I use it all the time. It is water based and dries matte. :p

It's been three days since I've gotten to drive her!

:tiphat: Thank you Mr.kenchan, I will get one from amazon, I Google it and it's available in spray-bottle, bet I don't need to mix it 50/50 with water? Or I am looking at a different product... Prima Nero

I had this is my shopping cart when I realized they have it in a spray and wipe as well.

I'm also going to pick up some clay while I'm at it.
