Drove the Z today..What a sweet ride..

Funny that Prius owners are so hateful of the 370Z, and one will tell his friends he"killed' one today..

From the stoplight , this guy would drive like a jerk and keep trying to race me like it was my fault that he bought a metrosexual Car..

You could tell his anger and craziness driving 60 in a 40...I won't go over 45 in a 40 zone.

But off each stop light he was speed racer, and in the turns it would lean over and bounce around..

The wife and I were laughing so loud it hurt..I barely hit the gas off the light and left him behind , and then I would let off and he would zoom past all angry..

Gotta say, it was the funniest part of the ride...My wife and I enjoyed it..

It was funny...I mean buy a sports car if you drive like that..

I can totally understand buying a Prius to commute and to save Gas.. I mean it could be part of someone's budget strategy. It is a person's choice , but to hate me, and to want to Race ???

Thank god the Wife was with me, because we laughed until we cried...

I choose to buy Oil dividend paying stocks and drive whatever I want to MPG wise..That is My strategy..

He gave us the "stare" when he went by...Like it was my fault...

But the Z car is great and all I saw was 350Z's and no 370Z's...I liked not being a dime a dozen...

The Interior on the Touring 370Z compared to the 350Z that I had , is just wonderful...

If I never get to see another PowerPoint slideshow, it'll be too soon. Everybody sees fit to use them. I for one think it shows an amazing lack of imagination... It takes absolutely no brain power to create a PowerPoint slideshow. When i watch one it kinda makes me feel the same as when I see kids with motorized scooters! I just want to yell out the window to cut the engine and push the thing. Maybe there wouldnt be so much childhood obesity then!

I hate effing with fax machines. I mess with command line interfaces in routers and switches all day, yet usually wind up screwing up a single page fax. :shakes head:

Finished detailing my car for the first time in the 3 years that I've owned it. Didnt do the interior yet, just a good clay bar and wax on the exterior. The paint is so jacked up from sitting out in the sun for 3 years now, it makes me a little sad, but then I remember that it's run into a wall at 30 or so MPH and I stop crying :-p

Thank ya.

**** happens on the track - once I got over it, I dusted myself off and moved on. The repair bill wasn't fun, but it only made me a better driver for it in the end.

The car is far from perfect - the front bumper is all sorts of jacked with chips and stuff. Roof has some weird clearcoat oddities. Some little chips on my doors that need some touch-up paint, and one of my doors has some good scratches from (I think) my neighbors kid kicking it while running around their car. Couple curb marks on the wheels.

Oh well, I'll get a Porter-Cable soon enough here and get rid of the majority of issues, and it'll be decent. She isn't bad for a banged-up girl, and still looks clean enough for me.

I hear ya...I am prepared for damage to my car when I track it..I don't want any, but it can happen. That is why it would be the Z/28...The 370Z is the Wife's baby, and I would be dead if I tracked it, let alone hurt it..

Also I used to be completely Anal/O.C.D. with my cars to a fault.:icon14:

I am better at letting some thing go... It isn't easy but if I don't I will drive myself nutts, and never drive them...

So glad you are rolling with it and enjoying the hell out of it...

Also a few feet away, you won't notice it..:tiphat:

I find that the only people that notice and complain are people with beater cars.. They walk up to my Z/28 with 30K in mods and say,"oh, you have a crack in your spoiler"...WTF where is their car ??:icon14::icon14:

So, you rode her hard and you cleaned her up...

GaleForce 06-14-2012 08:43 PM

Tonight was nice and cool so I gave Mrs.GaleForce's car a wash using some new Auto Finesse products I just received and tried out my new Metro Vac Sidekick.

Yeah, I do have a cheap leaf blower. It works, but after using the Metro Vac Sidekick, I would never use the leaf blower again. The Sidekick is worth every penny.

sorry to hear, pint. :( does that have something to do with allergies? i know some areas allergy season is different. mr.alcheng mentioned his allergy season starts now where as my farmland area in the middle of the country, we're pretty much done.

with that said, would Clartin work? it does wonders for me during late March - early May...

Claritin is a miracle drug and the only stuff that really works for me withouit making me feel like the "boy in the bubble" or an ADHD teen after 17 espressos.

I've tried Claritin and still using it but it doesn't do much. I'm going to use some standard otc eye drops until my next follow up.

I forgot to mention something to you the other day, Mr. Kenchan. I am impressed that you remembered that my current avatar is the one I originally used here. Wow -- 26+ months ago and you remembered.

TheGreatOne 06-14-2012 09:57 PM

Motordyne ART pipes installed!!

Demon bolt kicked the shops ***!!! Took 2.5 hrs to get the 2 bolts of that are accessed from the engine bay with a long extension. HAd to saw, heat, dremmel etc.

Anyways, worth the effort for me

Sounds amazing, more rumble/burble, better low end response! That low end torque is back. I can get the tail sideways in 2nd with VDC on!! haha, so ya, very happy with this mod. :D

Monday I get Uprev and dyno, so hope to really fine tune these mods and see a nice gain.

Can you comment more on how it sounds paired with the FI CBE?
