The Nismo does have a solid stance and quality..

:tiphat: Mr.onzedge.... I like the Volk too, but it's a bit over my budget right now... and I am looking for a style which the spokes are all the way to the edge of the rim thus have a full 19 inches look.

Mr.alcheng- yah, unfortunately some vendors here don't understand offset and just try to sell wheels originally designed to fit other cars. :ugh2: just putting it on the car does not mean it fits. Lol.

LunaZ 08-04-2012 08:09 PM

I did nothing with my Z today except narrowly missing it with a bundle of light stands as unloaded the truck a few minutes ago. Whew!
I fly to DFW tomorrow, so it'll be a few more days of no Z action for me. :(

The gravy they use is a beef short rib gravy that has a lot slow roasted short rib meat chunks in the gravy. One of the best starters ever. They have a "Pub Grub" section on the menu that has like 10 items and you can get any 3 for $10 and the Poutine is one of them. You can thank me later.

Dude! I am there tomorrow. Thanks and I will let you know how it is.

Hey guys... long time no talk! The woman passed out early with a pretty bad migrane so I'm out on the balcony enjoying some honest tea and a Padron 26. What's up?

happytheman 08-04-2012 11:14 PM

Hey Steve! When was the last time you logged on my friend? I just got back from a night out with the little lady.

Total Recall: Great scifi flick, fantastic cgi, a worthy remake and worth a watch!

m4a1mustang 08-04-2012 11:18 PM

Brantly :hello:

I've been here off and on, just haven't checked in the Z thread for a few weeks. Kind of a combination of being pretty busy at work and changing life up a little bit.

kenchan 08-05-2012 07:07 AM

Motoring my Z in 15. :p

It will be my first time. Mr. Srenity told me of a place here in midtown Sacramento that serves it and it is only about 3 miles or so from my house.

happytheman 08-05-2012 08:30 AM

That's certainly luck for you! I will anxiously await a well-laid out diatribe of your experience, good sir!

Good morning all! Man! The humidity is soooo high that water is streaming in rivulets down our windows. :shakes head:

Ps. My wife has notified me that a restaurant down on the beachside in Ormond beach serves Fries covered in gravy with cheese on them. I went and checked their menu and, sure enough, it's a truism. However, the cheese is Mozarella. Almost...but not quite poutine I would think. Perhaps a passable imitation tho?

I lost a little respect for you here, Brantly. Im personally offened by the remaking of this movie. I refuse to subject myself to it. Too many remakes these days.

On the other hand Im thoroughly jealous of your seafood dinner by the beach! Damn I wanna move outta NJ!!!

Pintsize725 08-05-2012 08:53 AM

Morning fellas! About to meet up with a few local Z owners for Austin's Cars and Coffee.

Really? I will tread through my days forever more feeling that I have let my fellow man down.

Wait a sec! Isn't NJ a coastal state, too?!

Wow! I hit up this place with a search for "Seafood" in NJ and check the results!

Wiseazz :icon17:

Yeah NJ has a coast, but it sucks!!!! You wanna go to the beach and see 18964048 Snooki clones???? All our shore spots blow minus a few. LBI is nice, Wildwood and Cape May. Thats about it. Do you guys have to buy beach passes in FL?? Cause we do and thats just lame.

happytheman 08-05-2012 09:04 AM

Check my Ninja edit. It may prove useful.

Yeah, we have to buy beach passes to drive on the beach, otherwise it's free.

happytheman 08-05-2012 09:15 AM

Whoa! I just read about the NJ "beach tags" and I gotta say, that sucks azz! I can't believe you have to pay to enjoy your beaches. Well, Florida is a tourist state.. That's their industry. If they required beach tags it would likely alienate the tourists.

"Proponents of the beach tags suggest that they improve the cleanliness and safety of the beaches and that they lower the crime rates as well by allowing a better police presence along the shore."

I actually have a seafood place right down the street from me. A very well known and respected establishment called the Milford Oyster House. The seafood stew is to die for!!!

Thanks Chris!! P.S drive back was perfect.. wasn't wobbly or anything. Alignment might be dialed in perfect.

happytheman 08-05-2012 11:10 AM

Are you selling your Z and parting out your ride? :(

happytheman 08-05-2012 12:25 PM

It's all nasty an raining outside. It's putting a bit of a damper on my detailing plans. :(

Motored my Z this am, was a good drive. I need to isolate the tascam from drive train vibration on lower rpm....high rpm no issue; going to make a new mount today. :p. QD'ed afterwards.

Going to vac the house first. :ugh2: I hate detailing the house...

I waxed the Juke -- nose to tail -- with Meguiar's Ultimate -- some of my favorite stuff.

Was that the ultimate liquid?

I alternate between the paste and liquid. Today was liquid. The paste is not easy to find for some reason.
