She knows everything (especially about parenting although she has never had kids) so I should not even try to engage with her. She has spent her whole life in a series of control games -- doing all sorts of traditional male-stuff career-wise. It is difficult for her -- always trying to show that she has a bigger pen1s than her male counterparts. I should know better than to employ logic and compassion with those who have both an agenda and a huge chip on their shoulder.

Anyway, I digress... You asked, though. I am one of those guys that will tell you how it is going when you ask. Conversely, I expect others to tell me when I ask which is why I do not ask people how it goes very often. I usually just say hello. It all goes with being the people-person and champion of the underdog that I am.

Yesterday I drove up here (Gridley, CA) to one of my clients to help perform the annual physical inventory -- which is where I sit now as I write this. They like me being here although I feel guilty because it's a great deal of sitting around time in between furious spurts of activity.

Last, thanks for looking at my photos -- I need to break in my new rear PSS, but I drove my F-150 up here on this trip because this is farm country, dammit. I could not find my Hank Williams 8-track though. Oh well.
I appreciate your openness and sharing. I can sympathize with your long term care situation for your father. We are also going through the same situation with both of my Grandmothers. It is unfortunate to see some siblings who cannot use logic and common sense to see what is best for the family member in need. In our case it's the same siblings who do not pull their own weight when helping with the day to day needs of their Mother. I'm sure everything will work out for us all, it's just a little stressful getting there.

I can help with the 8-track. I don't have Hank Williams, but I do have a couple from Elvis.... I know, it's just not the same.

the daily grind... that's like you can do a great job but someone else will often times screw it up for you, so just do decent work that matches the pay.

mr.gale- here's the lapel mic. my buddy insisted i try this on the gopro as his buddies were getting good audio. i dont know if it can withstand our car environments as our application is pretty loud... will find out running my HU test.

it is unfortunately a mono mic that comes with a stereo (tip ring sleeve) connector. since it uses a LR44 button battery like your audiotechnica pro24 i will need to remember to turn it on/off each time.

i dont know how many sessions i can get out of one battery nor does the mic have a LED indicator showing whether there's enough juice or not. LOL will find out tomorrow.

Since I am too lazy to go get lemon juice I am just going to omit it from this recipe. I suppose I could use pineapple juice instead, but IDK.

It's hot out, foo! And since the power is out at the office I got to work from home, which means I haven't seen the sun. It's after 4 PM. If I see it now I'll get all sorts of effed up.
