If you leave your remote in the glove box anyone can open your doors and start the car.

That does pose a problem unless you find a way to block the signal to the ignition.

If you wanted to get really fancy keep one FOB without a battery so that it only unlocks with the key and starts with the FOB in the ignition slot. You can then leave it in the car without the proximity sensor disabling the locks.

There are several antennas around the car and it can tell if the fob is inside or outside the car. Throw the fob inside and try to lock your doors - doesn't work.
