I haven't really researched my numbers and i'm not sure what the setting is in which we are comparing but I've owned a Lotus Elise and a Z4 M Roadster in the last year. (Yes, it's been a good year.) I feel like the M was a little faster, definitely more torque. I know the first time I put it in sport mode and really got on it, I realized that I had never driven anything that fast in my life.
![]() Ok, I had to see the numbers, 370z 0-60 in 4.7, Z4 M 0-60 in 4.8, & Elise 0-60 in 4.9. So they're all within a tenth of a second of each other. I guess the answer to the question is no, but I will say that out of all of them the Lotus was the "easiest" as far as shifting and the whole driver factor is concerned so if I were putting my cars against each other the list would probably go Elise, 370z, M Roady. ![]() |

![]() ![]() Used to drive a stage 1 Evo IX. It was definitely faster than a stock 370Z. But the way my Z is now... well, I dunno? They feel about the same. Last edited by KillerBee370; 06-12-2009 at 11:35 PM. |

I currently have a modified Chevy Trailblazer SS and modified Porsche 944 turbo. The Chevy is quicker off the line & to the 1/4 mile and the porsche is a beast on the highway from 100-170mph.

My old Mustang was about even with the Z, probably a little bit quicker. Quicker... not faster.
