Default The Rare 370Z

When I bought my 370Z last December, I knew very little about the car and never noticed much about how many there were on the streets. We have all read many posts about the rare sightings of the elusive 370Z. Last Thursday I had to make an emergency road trip to take custody of my daughter. I drove 3300 miles from Dallas/Fort Worth up through Arkansas, Tennesse, Kentucky and Ohio. I picked up my daughter from the court and then detoured up to Niagra Falls, NY and then into upstate NY (Elmira) where I was raised and then down through Pennsylvania, Maryland, W. Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas and back to Texas. I saw more Corvette's than I could count going up I-65 through Kentucky past the Corvette plant and museum as they made their pilgrimage. If I had a dollar for every 5.0 I saw, my fuel bill would have been paid. I saw at least 6 Honda S2k's driving through Nashville alone. Dozens of 350Z's, but never a 370Z at all. A total of 3300 miles in 5 days and never once saw a 370Z.

What's the longest you have gone without seeing a 370?

That's weird. I know of 2 other Zs within about 3 blocks of my house. They seem popular in the Chicago area, which is strange considering our weather.

The mustangs are dope but there is too many variators fromt he factory.

The entry level is alot lower so you see alot of mustangs.

When I first bought my 370 in March of '09 I didn't see others for a few months. Then gradually they started to pop up and now I see at least a handful a day. There are at least three in my apartment complex and I know of a few others at ones nearby. They are popular in this area (probably because we're pretty well off and our unemployment rate is very low) but I don't see them much when I am out of town.

I only see a couple other 370's around here and it is usually at the same time and road going to work. A white Z and a yellow Z. When I flash the white one, they never acknowledge it.

I have mostly seen Mustangs & Camaros. I only saw one blk 370Z Nismo. I know if I were to go into Houston & drive around I would see some 370Z's. The 370Z is popular, but not as popular & common as the Mustang & Camaros......THANK GOD.

I very rarely had other Z's acknowledge me when I waved (in my Z). Sometimes you'd pull up next to one at a light and they'd completely ignore you.

Actually told one of the guys in my apartment complex recently about our Z meets and he didn't really seem all that interested.

I saw next to no other 370z's in my first year or so of ownership.

Now I see them every day. Saw one on the highway yesterday on my way to work. Know of two in the town where I live. Three other Z's park where I work, and I know a guy who works 2 minutes away who drives one.

I see them quite often.

I see at least 1 370z a day. Usually 2 on my commute. The Tampa area have a ton of 350z's as well.
