This is very true. Maybe it's because if you divert your attention in Baltimore you may get shot.

Try driving a Solid Red 370Z down Waikiki during the middle of the day. On our Anniversary my wife and I "acted" as tourist downtown, getting valet parking off the main strip when a mini-mob of real tourist came out of no-where.

One girl asked how much money do I make. Looking over at my wife, because I knew she was pissed, I answered..."Not much, I'm in the Army".

Heh...I had a car full of Asians take photos of my 370 in a parking structure, giving me the thumbs up afterwards. It was pretty funny to see a car full of guys all taking shots of the car with their iPhones. It was pretty gratifying since my friend was parked right next to me with his new Porsche Cayman S, with they didn't give a second glance at.

Then again, maybe that means I'm a ricer...

Very soon it'll fill the street like 350Z did. So no worries.

Personally, the Z looks exotic, but isn't "as" exotic as the way too rare Ferrari or Porsche or (you name it)

It looks like an updated Porsche Cayman, to me.

Don't get me wrong, the attention is cool if you're into being noticed. But it's nothing unique to the Z is all I'm saying. Once the novelty wears off, so too will the attention, just like it did for the Beetle and Mini Cooper. And the same people who go ga-ga over the Z may well be the same yahoos who went gaga over the New Beetle, so I wouldn't get my ego get too boosted by this.
Ah its all just fun. I bought the Z for a lot of reasons and people checking my car out wasn't one of them. Although many may disagree I don't need a pen1s extension ;P

My 350 gets a lot of attention here in Indiana. My wife is still thinks it's funny how often random people approch us in town or in parking lots and wanna talk about it.

The question I get ALL THE TIME... "How fast does that thing go?"

In this area it has a lot to do with them being so rare. You see camaros and mustangs all day long. People get sick of seeing them. Z's are a rarity though.

That new camaro just came out and between my wife and myself we have already seen 8 of them in the past week in town... ugh.

Must be a unique thing to your area. SoCal has more 350Zs than you can ever imagine. I almost got gridlocked by 3 of them driving to work...weirdest feeling ever.

Yep. They're pretty rare up here in the Northwest. I've seen exactly *one* 370Z and that was a Nismo!

I hardly see any 350Zs either. I did see a black one the other week when I was coming out of 7-11. At first I thought it was a 370, the guy had taken such good care of it. But then I noticed the headlights. I still told him "nice car".

I saw one 350Z when I was back in Buffalo, for 10 days. No joke.

I hardly see any 350 or 370z's here on Long Island. I definitly think the car gets alot of attention because it is beautiful and it looks it costs twice as much as it does.
