i went with this one for now. the reviews were good and there's a pict in the review with a shot that i want from my hero2.

i have this tiny ball joint thingie coming to me so should be no issue leveling it. i personally dont like quick-locks (i hate the look of them and doesn't make camera sit upright unless it's on a mount). will see how it goes.
