thanks mr.zman! anyway, i ordered the nuvi2595 (5" bt with lifetime maps) cause it can do weather and traffic via BT (not FM) from my droid4 using smartlink app. +

kenchan A True Z Fanatic Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: N/A Posts: 76,801 Drives: N/A Rep Power: 141521	thanks mr.zman! anyway, i ordered the nuvi2595 (5" bt with lifetime maps) cause it can do weather and traffic via BT (not FM) from my droid4 using smartlink app. + the ecoroute guages, ofcourse! i didnt know about this when i ordered the 1490 last week. none of the reviews i read had any comments about smartlink and weather. and found this gps guy blogging about and was like wow, crap, i bought the wrong nuvi. lol all this time nuvi was able to show dopplar radar on its map and i didnt know about it. wtf... going to return the 1490 unless i can fit it in the G's cubby. will see...
