I usually encounter them in the backyard (or maybe its more accurate to say THEY encounter the paintballs that spew from my neighbor's and my yard). About the drop, it really depends on if the Z is your DD or not, I will not suggest it if it is your DD. PW is really nice, eh?? LOL

This is why I started leaning towards gloss myself. I actually like the matte finish better in general but on 40th it almost hides and does not offer the contrast you need to look good. I think gloss would be more noticeable on 40th.

and I believe you keep your Z very shiny too

A matte finished splitter will make it looks like an old/worn part. Go with the glossy, unless you have an opt for CF finish.
