HU= Head Unit:)

Fire 05-07-2012 08:35 PM

You have alot of rear wing options. Luckily you can see how they look before buying one. Actually that is true of a majority of mods. You should look under the tech section for any mod your are thinking of.

No, you guys are the RIGHT people to ask. Recommendations on an intake?

Like I said, I'm still on the fence about it, but would love to know how far I could stretch the $ if i decided to.

I like the K&N Short Ram, damn easy to install, decent on gain and nice sounds, only runs about $300ish :tup: :tup:

Not interested in fog light and already have illuminated kick plates. Need a spoiler though! Wtf is hu? I'm a noob remember. :)

HU is audio HeadUnit… make your in car entertainment fxxking more enjoyable. You can opt for those with GPS, a very worthy investment.

Also keep an eye out in the classifieds for a good deal like you did with your F.I. Intakes can be found in the want ads pretty easy:tup: If you really wanna step up the handling Swift springs and Stillen sway bars will only set you back about $600 all together and they make a WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!!! Prob the best mods for the $$$

I would love better handling! Ever since my last accident, my driving confidence isn't great. I bought a sports car but I'm not really enjoying it just yet.

How about....Stillen Gen III, H&R spacers annnnnnnnd Swift springs? That's about $1100. Of course that's just off the cuff. If you buy used, you can stretch a buck even further! :)

I would definitely buy used if the condition and price were good. Thanks for the recommendations!

I think I'm OK without a head unit. I don't get the garage most times and don't need to give potential thieves another reason to break in.

All these suggestions are making the money burn a hole in my pocket!

Lol, even I shouldn't be spending it. But I'm definitely a live in the moment type person so medical debt always gets a work around in favor of car things.

Tracie, if you would love better handling than Swifts + sways is what you are looking for. Trust me:tup: Swifts are the best 300 you will spend on your Z. They should be on the top of your to do list. Unless you dont want it any lower.

Recommendations on which ones? Also, will lowering have a major effect on the FI exhaust as far as it ever scraping over anything? I hate asking stupid questions but how else will I learn?

happytheman 05-07-2012 09:46 PM

Lots of people are lowered on the swifts and don't scrape their FI.
