All in all the Versa was not so bad for the two and a half weeks I had to wait for the part. You will probably get yours faster since the Rev-D is in production.

To add to the College vs. University thing. I found College is more hands on, practical teaching/learning while University more paper smarts. This is a generalization, no need for anyone to get their panties in a knot... Panties :yum:

I told my tech the same thing when I texted him about this. Why do they have a TSB for the GT-R, but not the Z?

Let's hope so! You know, you gave your Versa a relatively good review while you had it. I wonder though: Is it zippy?

Because GT-R owners pay $80k+. They don't care about lowly Z buyers! :shakes head:

Here I am. looks clean. I parked in the sea of white cars. Later, I went on to participate in the car exhaust sound-off which got me a surprisingly good amount of cheer from the crowd! 7500 rpm is all you need. Like my one and only decal? Also wore the t-shirt.

I want pics of the BRZ.

The BRZ was actually pretty comfortable to sit in (did I remember the sales guy saying something about Recaro? not sure.) - and would be very nice holding you in there while taking sharp turns.

The interior trim was just OK. They didn't use nice materials (mostly plastic) but had red stitching, etc. - and I thought it was neat the automatic shifter had a leather boot just like a manual. So you can think you're cool.

Boxster engine in the hood.
Here is the only picture I took of the BRZ:

Not a fan of those wheels but overall it's a good looking little car. If I had a bunch of cash laying around just for a BRZ right now I'd get one and put an LSX in it. :D

Exactally what I was gonna say. The wheels are puke! BUT the car has very nice styling.

Although the Versa is most assuredly a babe magnet, it provides a decidedly uninspired driving experience. On a positive note, it carries a heck of a lot more groceries than any Z I have ever driven.

SPOHN 04-21-2012 08:23 PM

Not sure how I feel about the BRZ fender vent. Looks like something you'd buy at the local auto store. Wheels too.

For that price, I don't give a **** about who's interior is the fastest. Awesome, thanks EazyD!

Also, bolded part is rofl-worthy.

mr.gale. :icon17:

aha, that is interesting about the college/university difference. where ive gone to, university is like a mall of colleges and schools all put together on a campus. :D so we're all 'college kids' 'college students' regardless of community college or not. tech school/vocational school are 'students.' someone correct me if im wrong.

EZ- nice shot of your car.

huh, brz... im still not sold on that car. it's like it can't make up its mind if it's ugly or cool, fast or slow, etc. and this day in age, 200hp on a fun car? nnnnn.... needs at least another 100hp.

disclaimer: but that's just me. :p

m4a1mustang 04-21-2012 09:04 PM

Even with only 200 hp it should still be a lot of fun. Everyone that has driven one so far says its a lot of fun just to toss around. Hell a Miata with less power is still gobs of fun.

Pintsize725 04-21-2012 09:16 PM

I heard that they were coming out with a boosted one soon after they release this one. To be honest though, I think it needed one to start...

There's a boosted version of the motor thats in the BRZ/GT86 confirmed being developed right now. Seeing as only the BRZ/GT86 use that motor (at least as of right now), its only assumed that it will eventually go into that car. Likely, an STi version in the least.

Was getting sad nobody commented yet :roflpuke2: Thanks

I wish I recorded the exhaust sound-off. I had 200 people on both sides cheering. They had a straightway coned off and all the cars lined up for 10 seconds of fame. I am embarrassed I had to search our forums to figure out if it was possible to rev more than 5k RPM without moving. Turns out you need to be in gear :) Neutral limits you to 5k. Thanks, Advanced Search!

Lots of positive comments at the car show and outside of the car show today. Good to know the car is 2 yrs old and still gets random people on the street shouting things at me.
