Thanks for the support, man. He got out of the hospital the night before his birthday. The wife and I bought an ASUS Transformer Prime for him, and he's amazed at the power and features.

Good morning fellas!

Still wet out side so no Z for me today unless it dries up. I just aerated the lawn last night so I'm going to get some more grass seed this morning and get it on the lawn while it's still wet.

Let's make Monday our biatch!

Thanks for the support.

My wife said once while I was accelerating, "You can feel the surge!" :icon17: When I was trying to decide whether I should establish a new high, she replied, "Go for it!" :driving: Nevertheless, after reaching it quickly, I backed off quickly to a slow 80. That was average yesterday ... Sunday.

I only tested it on straight shots with no cars in front of me (at least not within a 1/2 mile) with clear visibility and dry conditions ... and with no hiding spots for troopers. The human eye is designed to see long distances, and I was using ALL of my 20/20. :icon17:

Like I said, this was a quick burst. I did not sustain the high speed. I backed off quickly. :p

bbigby64 04-16-2012 10:07 AM

Yes, good morning folks! It's good to be back home after a quick ... errh ... long zafe trip. ;)

MacLean 04-16-2012 10:16 AM

Good morning everyone!!!! I dropped off my Nismo that I got on Fri at the dealership, so that the front bumper can be fixed. There were some dings (3-4) & the dealership is going to take care of it.

alcheng 04-16-2012 10:45 AM

Good Morning Fellows!! Monday again...

I always look at going to work as a way of generating funds for my mods, it makes me enjoy going to work a bit better... :icon17:

  for you dude!!

:icon17: :icon17:

Sorry alcheng, didnt see this post yesterday. I got an alignment after installing my Swifts. I believe it got me to 1.6 in the front and 2 or 2.2 in the rear. The car def feels lower after the Koni's. I prob need to re-align it.

Zoysia looks really nice. Haven't heard of it before, just did some reading on it

I stuck with the standard stuff for around these parts, perennial varieties of Kentucky bluegrass, ryegrass and fine fescue.

Beware of Zoysia. It looks nice, and it's tough, but it runs, and takes over everything. You have to establish a solid barrier between your yard, and your neighbor's yard, because they might not appreciate Zoysia's spreading, and taking over their lawn.

Yeah, the great thing about it is it's difficult for weeds to grow in Zoysia.

Good to know. I'll definitely do more research about it. As far as my neighbors go, well they have weed patches, not yards. It makes my yard look amazing. I have a nice dark green, thick, mostly weed free yard with burnt grass weed patches on either side of me (neighbors). I just wish they did some yard work, it would make looking after mine a little easier. The good thing is they both have their house up for sale, so there is hope that I'll get some neighbors who respect their property.

I brought my Z in to a body shop and got a quote for rock chip correcting on my front left fender (right next to the headlight).

They quoted $214 (~5 hours of labor @ $42/hr) and will give me a loaner car for a few days for paint to cure, etc. -- I thought this price sounds fair.
