One near death sprint car story. We where racing at a local dirt track. Me and the drivers son(18 years old) went over to the wall and watched hot laps to see how the car was handling. Our car went by and we turned to watch it go down the back stretch. Behind us two cars came together and one headed for the wall. I caught it out of the corner on my eye. I pushed the other guy to the ground and dove myself. Where we where there wasn't any fencing just a 3 foot concrete wall. The car hit the wall and the wing went over it and us by about 6 inches. We got very lucky that day.

Well, not yet, but I am a very creative guy with financing and investments. I have first position to buy it.

So, I talked to the realtor, and it is a short sale..I do not have to sell my home to buy the Killer spread, but I would have to sell it to pay back my Income Investments.

And I need a few months to get my debt to income ratio just right. I will put enough down to make the payment comfortable. But a short sale takes time, if it happens at all..

But life is all about the Journey and the Game, and not the destination..

I have my plate full, but although it is makes be sick to my stomach, it is also Fun in a sick sadistic way..

Had I not gotten clean years ago, and learned about money, I would be dead already..

Mike

I wish you luck bro. I'd love to come out and visit you sometime when doing a West Coast visit.

Bucketlist2012 05-25-2012 07:28 PM

Thanks for all the stories that you shared...

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.. Had I known that my Wife was going to go off and try to buy a mansion, I would have kept the bullet proof 350Z..Too late now..

But having the sport/Touring 370Z is really sweet...If I ever drive it...

We will be here...Where ? I am not sure.

But the offer goes in Tuesday morning. But it may take months to go through, which would be great and it would give me the time I need to wrap up loose ends...

Fire 05-25-2012 07:33 PM

The 370Z looks better to me.

Bucketlist2012 05-25-2012 07:34 PM

You know that Kenchan is going to rip on us for getting all "Kumbyha"...

We will all be on his Ignore List soon.

And yes the 370Z looks better, inside and out..

It took me almost a year to buy my house. I had to completely remodel the house and get the inspectors blessing. Actually two inspectors because my house was purchased under the Veterans Guaranteed home loan.

Fire 05-25-2012 07:38 PM

Kensan is busy fending off my drunk ninja raccoons. I sent them earlier cause he made some comment about having his own drunk ninja raccoons. He will be busy for awhile

I pray that we lock into contract, and that it takes the rest of the year to close..Since it is a short sale.

That would give me the time to get everything ready.. If it is meant to be, it will happen.

If it isn't meant to be, it won't happen.. So I don't worry as much as the Wife does.. She is emotionally attached..

copied from wikipedia since I couldnt word it properly myself:icon17:

A short sale is a sale of real estate in which the proceeds from selling the property will fall short of the balance of debts secured by liens against the property and the property owner cannot afford to repay the liens' full amounts, whereby the lien holders agree to release their lien on the real estate and accept less than the amount owed on the debt.

In other words, a great deal for the BUYER:tup: When purchasing my home I put in a bid on a short sale. Didnt get it though. Anything can happen with those things.

That is where the bank agree's to take a lower amount than what is due on the loan, for a loss, and both the seller, and the bank have to agree on it.. It is way harder to do and takes way longer, but if I am in first position, they will still list it for other offers, but it will say "pending Offer". But they have to both agree to it. The property outside does not look as good as the photo because it has been empty for a long time...Some watering and some gardening will bring it back to life..

The REO that I own now, was already bank owned and foreclosed , and buying it was much easier because the seller was already out of the picture and the house was vacant for over a year.

That way, you get more house for the money..

I could never understand why banks just don't work things out with the people rather than take such a loss, but it must be a tax write off or something..

I could give up booze but I dont think I could ever totally give that up. Im really glad the states are getting A LITTLE more lax with it. Its totally ridiculous, imo, that people are in PRISON and what not for consuming something that is 100% NATURAL. Its like saying "sir we found cucumbers in your trunk, you're under arrest". Yet booze and TOBACCO are legal. Ill tell you what, I do way dumber sh1t when Im drunk than when Im stoned. They wanna blame weed, call it a gateway drug. You know what?? I bet just about everyone can attest to trying either alcohol OR tobacco before marijuana. What really confuses me is why its not legal yet. The money made off taxes alone would be astronomical, literally. PLUS, hemp is an amazing resource. Paper, clothes, you name it.

On the same topic I found a product called HEMP HEARTS in the food store not long ago. Its actual shelled hemp seeds that you eat! They taste like a mix between sunflower seeds and walnuts. Was amazed a product like that was available.

Sorry to hear that Pint. I'm happily single, no kids and have my own house. My parents live with me which works out good. I do remind them frequently that they are homeless so they better be good.

They let you know early or review all the offers? Take Bucket, Tues he submits and offer, does the owner look at it then and say yes or no or do they review all offers like a silent auction?
