It shouldn't as they are anodized not painted. I have driven over 500 miles since install with a spirted run through a back road in there and they look good still. Not sure how they will hold up over the long haul but they were pretty cheap so no big deal.

Those clamps look like mil spec clamps. If done right they shouldn't fade. They have been using clamps like that on jet engines for decades. Look nice in engine bays. :tup:
