Hey Ms.Pintsize725, take a deep look on what do you really want and what do you really need. Might as well want to save up the grand and go for a bigger mod later then to just spend it now. :tiphat:

I like my Taco Bell but don't eat alot of fast food.McD's and BK only like once a year.

Fire 05-08-2012 12:34 PM

Alcheng I'm going to Imports at Carlisle the weekend of 18th. The Harrisburg firemans expo that Sunday. Besides that will probably be opening the pool and finishing some things that didn't get done when I bought my house 4 years ago.

Just got the word that my aero parts will be shipping soon. maybe I should start a W.I.P. thread?

Hey greatone :worthless:
Kensan welcome my bro.

kenchan 05-08-2012 04:49 PM

thanks, fire! looks like im kinda too late now to catch up on the reading. lol

so for updating my nuvi, i think im going to ditch my 4.3" cheezo and get me the 50LM which is their basic 5" screen with lifetime maps. my buddy mentioned to me that the traffic updates are real-time but only good for major roads and highways...which i dont usually take on my weekend drives in my Z. so for me in the Z, useless. i can get weather and traffic from my Droid if needed per 'weatherbug' app. :p

Fire 05-08-2012 04:50 PM

Kensan look out your windshield for instant weather updates.

Mt Tam I am 05-08-2012 05:00 PM

I finally purchased the camera to go with my Nav tool group buy from about a year ago. You can tell I really needed this in a hurry.

Fire 05-08-2012 05:01 PM

You don't just jump into things do you Mt? :bowrofl:

On a more lighter, Z related note: I get to drive her to lunch in a few minutes. Chick Fil A here I come!

I'm sorry to hear about that Tracie. I can certainly understand the predicament. I was in debt to a small degree, and when my mother passed she left me a little bit of money that allowed me to pay those off. I, along with the majority of America, now have only Mortgage and Auto Loan looming, so it's not too bad or unmanageable.

What goals do you have set for your debt relief?

And to stay on topic, I just got home from a grueling day at work in which I was required to drive the Z in the rain. :shakes head:

alcheng 05-08-2012 05:43 PM

Good afternoon folks!! I've been standing the whole day and finally can sit down and type something... :icon17:

Gonna drop off the Z to the dealer tomorrow..... remember they replaced the canvas about a month ago and everything works fine except the passenger side window is still rubbing the canvas so I had them to look at it last week and afterward they told me to go back to see them tomorrow and have a rental to me for 2 days I hope this time I will get something better than the Mali-Mali-Boooo well they told the Z should be ready by Thur night but because I finish work at 8pm therefore I will have to go there on Fri morning to pick it up and hopefully this time everything will be resolved but there's nothing I will complain about this dealer because so far their attitude and service have been great so I can only appreciate their help just hoping I will not have a Mali-Mali-Booo yes I know this is one extremely long sentence and I did it in purpose just for fun and if you are able to reach this point it means you are getting a distinction from Power-Read Academy thank youfor reading my post and to perfect this post now please yell out "OFC!!!!"

OFC!!

Hey Alcheng, does your dealer charge you for said "rental" or is it a loaner?

EL Diablo 05-08-2012 06:06 PM

I traded my Z today...

Just one of those car guy things.
I had a blast with the 370Z but it was time to move into something else for a while.
This was my 2nd Z, I had a 350 for a couple of years back in 03, I'm positive I'll own another in the future. Simply an awesome car.

Of course you know what I got right?
The only car 370z drivers leave a Z for... :yum:
I'm heading to the dealer in a bit to pick up the Beast.

I still plan to troll this place.
One of the best car forums out there with great people.

Thanks for the Fun!

I have no goals to be honest. I'm pretty much in that group of citizens who live paycheck to paycheck right now. My job pays me a decent hourly wage but it's not enough so I'm just taking any extra $$$ from each paycheck and distributing it between all 3 debts. Don't judge me. :p

Im a broke SOB too Tracie dont feel bad. Totally a paycheck to paycheck guy myself. The only reason I have a lot of what I have is through unfortunate circumstances. We all struggle, well most of us. As long as you have your health and some people that stick by you nothing else really matters. Screw debts and $$$. They are stupid things to stress over. We all cant be millionaires or massively successful. The world needs average people. We are the glue.

I'm learning to not stress about it. I have my priorities straight obviously: PSS + FI in one month. Lol. I'm just trying to have fun before I have to start thinking about a family. Ugh.

Anyway, my nice car wash is toast. Tired of this rain.

:roflpuke2: :roflpuke2: Nice precise happytheman, I was trying to make it as long and continuous as possible to see whose gonna break his breath. LOL

The loaner is actually a rental that the dealer pay for me, well, I purchase the extended warranty plan from them so that's it... they don't have any courtesy/loaner car for customers... :ugh2:

I didn't get a chance to go out in the Z today, but I did get some sweet items to detail it.

Here is my latest haul of detailing products. My experience with Martin t Auto Finesse was one of my best buying experiences ever. Communication was excellent, Martin was very prompt with responses to questions, and fast to ship the products. Everything was very well packaged, he even taped the lids down on some of the bottles, nothing leaked during delivery! He even followed up after I received the delivery to make sure everything was ok.

I'm big on cusotmer service, and I like to share positive expierences when a company goes that extra mile. I highly recommend dealing with Martin at Auto Finesse for any detailing supplies.

Anyways, on to my Auto Finesse porn.
