Next Gen Z will likely have smaller engine.

I don't think they need to make the car any smaller. It is already a small car. What they should do is take a good look at the design and

I don't think they need to make the car any smaller. It is already a small car. What they should do is take a good look at the design and shave weight any way they can. They should also continue to refine their 3.7 engine. I really hope they don't go to a smaller engine, its not like the current engine is overly large or anything.

the 3.7 VHR is bordering on overly large.

Honestly I'd expect 2.5 to 3.0 maybe boosted if smaller(doubtful)

hopefully prices will go down tho

I really hope they do not nerf their engine like this they have achieved a great weight distribution with the 3.7 why fix it if its not broken? Owners get great reliable power from a NA engine and if you are inclined you can boost it for some serious results!

The VQ has pretty much reached its end.......If you have driven a first gen 3.0 VQ that was in the 95 Maxima you would see why alot of these claims of harshness etc etc exist. It was buttery smooth etc etc then.
