Nissan 370Z Forum

I want to trade 2010 nismo for a zl1 camaro

Don't forget the price difference that is paid between the Vette and the 370z. It's not like they are in the same league.

So you can get a brand new C6 for 32k and a grand sport for 35k??? Wow, when did this happen? Right now my dealer has a silver touring sport auto for 41k. Last I saw the base C6 was 49k.

C6's go low 40's with a few options, stripped GS goes mid 40's.

That's weird because I cross shopped the vette

Chevrolet

According to Chevy's WEBSITE.

A Base C6 corvette is $49,600
A grand sport is $56,000
A Z06 is $75,600
A ZR-1 is $111,600

HERE'S NISSAN

http://mobile.usablenet.com/mt/www.n...ol=model.build

A Z base is $31,910
A Z sport is $34,940
A Z touring is $36,610
A tour sport is $39,640
A NISMO is $41.290

You are way off base Import. These are the prices for all these cars before they have any options or incentives.

Here is a corvette, out the door for $44 (for $45K, you can get it with NAV, 2LT, etc.).
2012 Coupe Rock Bottom Price No Negotiation Sale At Boardwalk Chevrolet - Corvette Forum

My 370Z cost $43, and Nissan wasn't offering 0% at the time like this car. Means my 370Z is costing MORE than this corvette. Now granted I bought it for MSRP because that's just what I had to do to get the 370Z I have, but still, even if discounted to $39K or so, the interest fees would make it an even comparison.

Yeah but those are seasonal deals. People who buy the Z ultra early or late get up to $3000 below invoice. We have plenty of forum brothers that have bought maxed out Z's for 38k. Much of that reflects region. You can argue what dealerships sell it for when it sits on a lot for nearly a year because no one wants to deal with CORVETTE maintenecence and insurance rates. You prices are still reflect what dealers sell it for. Most people won't pay 60k for a great car with econo interior. So dealers have to get subsidized to sell a vette. It is what is... but you can't sit there and argue against Chevy's website. And here in dallas where Corvettes sell well. Its hard to get a vette so heavily discounted unless the dealer really needs to get it off his lot.
