lol, i went looking for the slot myself. hahaha. perhaps this is just a generic rendering...

so having a single long filter is better than dual cones?

I'm looking at the pic again, and I think I see a squarish cutout on the underside of the piping, near the TB. That's kinda far away from the intake point, no?
