Id stick with the Z. First of all you see G's EVERYWHERE not so much with the Z. The G is nice dont get me wrong but unless you have a family screw back seats. Enjoy a 2 seater while you can because someday you are gonna want one and your wife is gonna be looking at you like "keep dreamin mother-fvcker". Z all the way. G's are for yuppies and married guys that wanted a Z

touring edition Z FTW! other than the backseat thing, the z can have all options listed. however, with this being said, if i had to DD the car, i would have gotten a g37, 335i, or s4 V8. theres no replacement for more seats in a car.

i'd say go with the g37. by this point, you are probably already familiar with this platform and engine layout. you might be suprised how much of that knowlege and familiarity transfers over between cars. think of it as a 370z.5 lol

I like both Z's and G's, but I like the Z better. It's more of a sports car. It's more at home on the track or on back roads. You can mod a G to be like that, but with the Z you're already most of the way there.

The G is heavier and has two extra seats. It's more practical.

Someone said G's are AWD. Not all of them. You can get an AWD G37, but you can also get a RWD one.

Do what's best for you, but for my situation, I'd take the Z every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I have a 40th which is sports and touring, so I have heated leather seats and Nav, love it. Its as luxurious as a I need for a sports car

I have not driven a G37 however I sat in one and while I think the Z's seats are comfortable, the G was next level. Extremely comfortable. The finish inside is nice and yes, back seats.

I just had a son a few months ago, the only reason I'd switch to a G is if I couldn't get a 3rd car and swtiching made more sense.

The looks have grown on me, I'm in a local VQ club and there are some sick ones, I feel black is the best color. Great thing about the Z is you see much less of them, if you care about that sort of thing. There are 4 G's in my Condo Parking lot.

I went from a G37S (fully loaded) to a 370z (fully loaded). I honestly can't pick a favourite. I like them both equally. I would get another G in a heartbeat. Performance/handling suffers a bit with the G, but what you lose in that category, you gain in toys. But in your case, you haven't had the Z long enough in my opinion to switch over.

I made the same switch, but with a much different result - there is no way I'd go back to a G. It's all subjective - I don't like the G's styling, interior, or extra weight.

A Z is MUCH more exclusive.

If you are wanting creature comforts (like I do), go with a Sport Touring.

I rarely see G37s although I agree G35s are a dime a dozen.. I used to own a 2008 G37 and while I loved the car, the Z is much more enjoyable to drive and you definitely do feel the weight difference. I am only 20 years old though. If luxury is what you are looking for, the G will fill all those needs and still be plenty of fun to drive. The interior noise is night and day, as well as the comfort level. As others said above me... If the Z is your fun car and you do a lot of spirited driving keep the Z, if its just a mode of transportation with some quick runs through the twisties and highway pulls I would take the G... Hope this helps a little

Ya i must admit, I really love the exclusivity of the Z. Nobody has them! And realistically, when you get the touring package on the Z, you're not really missing out on too many toys.

More HP to accomodate the 300 lbs difference. I just think that the G37 is like a 3 series BMW not close to an M3 though. What's funny though is that since I prefer a G35 but could only get a brand new G37, I'd also think about the Altima. I know its less HP but with a few mods, you can save money. The new G just doesn't appeal me at all.
What's FRD? THE G37 and G37s coupe and sedan are RWD vehicles. You can opt for a G37x or xsport that is AWD. AWD comes at a premium and is NOT the standard Drivetrain.

Save up your nickels and dimes and do some upgrades. Your never look back nor will you regret having the Z, All it took for me was a touch screen navigation and exhaust and I got hooked.
I wanted to do upgrade earlier but when it comes to that Im a total noobie. last time I went to a store they quoted me 500 dollars just for installing a 2din head unit. I really think it wasnt worth that much..or being ripped off

thanks for the feedback

Not making mad dough just yet thinking getting an alternative car instead of giving up the Z. just too good to pass on it
