Honestly, sounds like your mind is already made up but you're looking for reinforcement or approval for this decision. I don't blame you as it's human nature and in fact, I say go with the G if the loss isn't significant on your budget. If you make mad dough, the loss of a couple thousand won't mean shiznit.

thinking getting an alternative car instead of giving up the Z. just too good to pass on it
