![]() You answered your own question -- the G is a more luxury oriented Z. If you do start modding, the difference between them will become negligible in performance, but the luxury remains. If you are able/willing to pay for it, go for it.

Dont do it!
The nav and stereo stuff you can easily do you rself. You can also have some sound deadener installed throughout the car and get a very quiet ride. In my mind no reason to pay a lot of money for a "luxery" car when its just a bunch of expensive oem crap the auto maker adds on to their base models |

The G is a fine car and if you can afford only one car at a time it's really a better choice for more than day-to-day operations.
You know when you need more comfort, more room/seats, haul stuff and people around etc. That said, I have a four door Altima SE-R that does that job for me. It's friggin huge inside. The back seat leg room whatever seems to have more room than the Z's front. Had it since new and I love to run the hell out of it. It's not a G but still a fun car to drive and is surprisingly fast. Paid for years ago too.. ![]() If you can afford two cars keep your Z for your day-to-day stuff like doing burnouts and scaring old ladies (giggle) and purchase a late model something to haul people and stuff around when you need to. Or...just get a G? lp |

Yeah the G37 to me looks more luxury and it's got some weight to it. For me, I got the 370Z Touring with the sports package and navi unit, and I'm not lookin back at my Honda S2000. PROBLEM SOLVED!

I have had both G35 & G37S. I like the sound of the G35 more than the G37, but I like the body style of the G37 more than the G35. I believe '06 - '07 G35 had the best looking front bumper out of the G35 years.
The Z will have a little more hp & wider wheels (Nismo vs. IPL). The Z is a little bit more of a sports car. I always thought that the Z was for people in late teens or early twenties & the G was more for older/serious people. Now I see that the Z is more sportier & more of a mid life crisis toy. You can get all the amenities in either car. It comes down to if you want a firm ride, or if you want a firmer ride (almost harsh). |

Id stick with the Z. First of all you see G's EVERYWHERE not so much with the Z. The G is nice dont get me wrong but unless you have a family screw back seats. Enjoy a 2 seater while you can because someday you are gonna want one and your wife is gonna be looking at you like "keep dreamin mother-fvcker". Z all the way. G's are for yuppies and married guys that wanted a Z
